TACTILE FEEDBACK
To ensure a response is registered when a switch is pressed
a snap action dome is
incorporated in the panel. There are two types mainly Metal and Polydomes. The metal domes offers consistency and reliability and are available in different sizes.

SUB ASSEMBLY
The panel can be provided with metal or plastic back plates and mounted with requisite
hardware . Printed Circuit Boards can also be supplied with wave soldered components and surface Mount Devices Assembly.

WINDOWS AND LED'S
Can be treated for Clear transparency for use LCD’s or
filtered transparent in Red, Green, Amber, Yellow, Violet and
Smoke Grey for use with Led’s and segment Display, with
Selected Hards Coat and Anti Glare finish. SMD Chip LED’s
can also be sealed in the flexible membrane or soldered on
the PCB.

INTERCHANGEABLE LEGENDS
Where preprinted information cannot be included in the Graphic layers a series of pocket can
be engineered to accept additional legend strip thus making the panels very user definable and friendly.

SHIELDING
Built in shielding layer can be provided to minimize or eliminate EMI/ RFI of Static Interference
using Copper, Aluminum Shielding and Carbon or silver Grids with tabs.

DEAD FRONT PANELS
Are "Secret – Till – Lit panels which are blank until they are lit. Electroluminescent panel can
also be incorporate for the same.

EMBOSSING
Any par of the panel can be embossed to add a third dimensions. There are tow type
namely PAD type, which gives a conventional panel appearance usually having tactile feedback
and
RIM type raises the entire edge of the switch location and contact.

- Clincher Crimped female connector with housing and Crimped male without housing.
- ZIP (Zero Insertion force) edge connector.
- Compatible connector with polorisation and interlocking can be soldered to the PCB.

Protolab incorporates the use of hardware, studs spacers. We use rivetted screws which are available in various Metric Measures and heights.
